Cherished Metal Refinishing provides a professional metal refinishing, refurbishment and restoration service to bring your cherished metal items back to life. This could be for example your beloved motorcycle or classic car parts that have deteriorated over time and now require re-chroming or you would like a refinishing uplift on some cherished metal lighting or hardware that is no longer available 'off the shelf' but in need of some Cherished Metal Refinishing TLC. It could also be that you simply desire a change of finish on some cherished metal items e.g change from a brass finish to a brushed stainless finish (only one example of many cherished metal refinishes available).

An extensive range of quality metal refinishes are available including bright polished chrome, matt pearl chrome, simulated brass, gold, copper or stainless steel and also a wide range of durable powder coated paint colour finishes.

Through the polishing processes metal plated refinishes can be applied in a highly bright mirror like polished finish or satin brushed matt finish appearance as required to suit your specific preference.

Powder coated paint finishes can be applied in a gloss, semi-gloss or matt finished appearance to suit your specific requirements.

Metal Preparation

When it comes to metal refinishing the initial step is usually to prepare the surface by removing or appropriately treating previous coatings to improve the starting base and reduce end resulting surface imperfections. This can be achieved by either chemical stripping, blasting with granular media and vibratory finishing as required. Cherished Metal Refinishing offer all of these techniques to ensure the metal surface is correctly prepared prior to refinishing.

Metal Polishing

Surface metal polishing provides a superior metal finish and high quality underlying appearance that can be either bright mirror like polished or satin brushed finished. This process also removes or minimises the affects of surface imperfections prior to refinishing to provide a high quality metal refinished appearance. Cherished Metal Refinishing can provide a polishing and refinishing service on most metals including mild steel, brass, stainless steel, aluminium and zinc alloys.

Metal Plating

Cherished Metal Refinishing provide a quality metal re-plating service to bring deteriorated items back to life. Alternatively if it's simply a change of plating finish appearance you require then we can help there too. An extensive range of decorative metal plated refinishes are available including bright or matt chrome, simulated brass, gold, copper and brushed stainless. Resulting from the metal polishing process plated refinishes can be applied in a highly polished or satin brushed surface appearance

Powder Coating

Cherished Metal Refinishing provide a wide range of high quality powder coated paint colour finishes which give a superior durable long lasting coating. Powder coated paint colour finishes can be applied in a gloss, semi-gloss or matt finished end appearance. Both automated and manual powder coating processes are utilised as necessary to ensure maximum paint coverage for durability and final refinish quality.
